What a weekend ! Let’s just say it was filled with fun, sweet people & some pretty hysterical moments. It really brings us so much joy & makes our work not work . This is 1 of the many reasons we love what we do!
On April 23rd we had 3 weddings! First up was Lauren’s Wedding with Michelle as lead & Asia assisting. We had the pleasure of working with Janice from Bellwether Events. We’ve worked with a lot of planners but we’re always thrilled when it’s Janice. She’s organized & detailed but keeps conversations efficient. We know it will be a smooth day. The couple got ready at The Williard on Pennsylvania Ave. Also a crowd favorite & will adamantly vouch it’s one of a best valet services in town. The random things you learn in this business right? Couldn’t imagine a more enjoyable day . Makeup was provided by Makeup By Ana B.
Casey created a dashing look for bride to be Daisy . She got ready at her home which is a wonderful cozy & relaxing environment that sometimes is the perfect fit for a chill wedding day. MUA Heather Michele provided makeup & Moonbell Photography captured the day! We are so excited to see the images.

Ashley worked with bride to be Kelli & her crew as they got ready at St. Joesph Church in Huntsville AL. The wedding was at the church & reception at Annabella . We had the joy of working with Charley from Weddings Ondeck who we’ve built a treasured friend relationship with as well as Olivia Sparks providing makeup services. Lauren A Gray was the photographer capturing the day . This crew was hysterical ! Needless to say I overheard some incredibly excellent quotes including but not limited to” You’re a goddess. Godesses don’t need to twerk to wake up”. Pretty much sums it up & I’m here for it.
After the wedding on 4/23 there was the opportunity to provide hair & makeup services for a client who was doing a 60”s inspired photoshoot. We did a bit of a beehive on her beautifully colorful hair ( Pulp Riot for the win) & a winged liner. For this babe who rarely wears any makeup she was a rocking a whole new look!
Sunday (4/24) was also jam packed with fun. Gabriela had a wedding at the Woodlands of Algonkian in Fairfax Virginia. They got ready in the cutest little cabin before their big day. Alana had a low braid bun look that was so stunning & Lindsay Hyer provided an incredible makeup look. We’re also so excited to see the images from Lindsay of Lindsay & Co Photo. Long time friend from Alexandria VA though she’s now based out of Leesburg VA we still often have the opportunity to work together.
Katelyn also provided a hair & makeup trial for bride to be Shaina. Needless to say Zooey Deschenel should be jealous of this look. A bold lip with soft curls & statement fringe. Chef’s kiss! We can’t wait till her big day in June.

Every weekend is something new but they are all incredible & all so fun ! If you are individual who loves having a curveball & something different all the time this could truly be the path for you. And if you thrive on bringing joy to others.. it’s a sure fire fit!
