So as the past few weeks have been so busy & wedding season full force is upon us today that the priority of blogging has slipped our minds a bit would be a wee bit of an understatement but you deserve the deets! That being said it’d would just be SO much to put them all into 1 big post. Instead we’ve decided to split them up by DC/MD/ VA and the Tennessee River Valley. This is the DMV recap.

May 28th we had 2 weddings in the DMV. First up is Jan’s with stylist Michelle. She was an elegant glam half up look that matched the elevated aesthetic of the whole day. She got ready at The Hotel Washington in Washington DC with is always one of our all time favorites & you’ve probably even read that on here before we say it so often. Joshua Bingham Photo & Chasing Light Productions captured their perfect day. We provided the hair services white J Tan Makeup Artistry provided makeup services. Jan’s dress was designed by Justin Alexander & shoes from Jimmy Choo. Travis ( Jan’s fiancé ) suit was from Suit Supply & their rings from Ascot Diamonds. bringing us home with their beautiful florals was the tainted House of Jeanne Flowers.

Our second May 28th wedding was with Molly at the Kimpton George Hotel. Our stylist Sarah provided hair services & Ariana provided makeup services. Ariana has moved to Lexington KY but loved her couples who booked with her before decision to move so much that she came back for their big day ! As an original cover bride we were so glad to finally celebrate together! And we had the joy of working with the talented Janice of Bellwether Events once again.

On June 4th Jade had our full focus in the DMV area. She received hair services from Michelle at the Oak Barn at Loyalty in Leesburg VA. Beauty Pie Artistry provided makeup services and Lauren Lousie Collective brought the whole magnificent event together. A “marrier only” package that provide Jade with a day of absolutely pampering .

Then finally on June 11th Michelle was back at it & busy again ! This time she was glamming Emily with MUA Jenna providing makeup services. They all got ready at Hotel Indigo in Alexandria Virginia while the festivities continued just down the road at the Torpedo Factory. A very unique space that used to be a literal torpedo factory turned art gallery that moonlights as a wedding venue. Grace & Virtue Events planned the whole day & was a joy to work with. Truly someone I hope we get to work with again. Caribbean Caterers provided the food while Vola’s provided drinks. Get Ready Photo DC documented the day ( so excited to see these images ! ). Zandi Entertainment DJ’d the night & John Farr Lighting created the mood. Something Borrowed Blooms, Party Rental Ltd & ACE Party Rentals finished off the aesthetic. Botanical Paperworks created the most incredible stationary (it’s eco friendly & literally grows seeds) & Killa Cakes made the most delicious cupcakes. If you’ve been curious about their treats I can personally attest to the their amazing flavor combos.

Also on June 11th Avery finally got to celebrate her big day. A Covid bride who had tot delay her nuptials we had anticipated this day for over a year! And it was well worth the wait. Gabriela created the most stunning hairstyle & Ariana was back at glamming in the DMV. This was her last wedding in the DMV area & is now FULLY in the Kentucky region. The wedding took place at the Dumbarton House while everyone got ready nearby at Parky Hyatt.

Wow what an incredible few weeks ! It still amazes us how many incredible people we have the fortune of working with & really seals the deal on the whole “law of attraction”. Chill & fun vibes all day every day. Weddings are still going strong & we’re so excited to share even more with you our readers.
