Wedding Recap: Tennessee Rive Valley 5/28-6/11

So as the past few weeks have been so busy & wedding season full force is upon us today that the priority of blogging has slipped our minds a bit would be a wee bit of an understatement but you deserve the deets! That being said it’d would just be SO much to put them all into 1 big post. Instead we’ve decided to split them up by DC/MD/ VA and the Tennessee River Valley. This is the Tennessee Rive Valley recap. Read the DMV one HERE.

May 28th we had 2 incredible weddings. First is Jessica’s wedding with Ashley as lead and Katelyn assisting. Jessica was a real life Disney princess with her braided half up with flowers pinned throughout to have a deconstructed flower crown. It was really a dream team of vendors. The whole day was captured by Paton Teffner Photography . It was our first time working with her but it was fantastic. Also on the wedding vendor team was Native Petals & Olivia Sparks . Remember those flowers? Taylor of Native Petals used a brand new technique to essentially cauterize the flowers allowing the delicate, living flowers to vibrantly last the whole day long & be able to secured anywhere in the hair. Katelyn not only delivered delightful work but got to bring the biggest smile to the flower girl Katelyn who had never met another Katelyn with the same spelling. Sometimes it’s the small things. Oh & it was one of our favorite Alabama venues - White Azalea Estate. A modern, edgy, versatile take on the “barn” trend.

Also on May 28th Casey provided luscious looks for bride to be Kaci. Charlie of Weddings Ondeck helped to pull off the whole day with planning & coordination. Melissa & Co photography captured the whole day as the reception took place at the Early Works Museum in Huntsville. Mason Dixon catered Kaci’s wedding & Encore Aesthetics provided makeup services.

The very next day (May 29th) was Bethany’s wedding with Casey providing hairstyling services while Katelyn provided makeup services. The day took place at the beautiful Guntersville State Park . There’s the most beautiful overlooks that of the lake & valley that captures the most alluring golden hour light. Bethany had a stunning boho look with a beautiful braid. Her makeup was natural with a rosy tone but elevated.

June 4th was full of magical weddings. First up is Savannah’s wedding with Casey. She took a trip to Jasper Alabama to glam up this beautiful bride to be. Savannah conducted our virtual trial which we love to offer for our busy bees & out of town clients. A unique accommodation of company offers to ensure for a seamless day.

Katelyn brought to life Nicole’s dream look. It was so unique too ! A double braid bun with dutch braids feeding in. While “non-traditional” we are all here for it ! I mean what are traditions other than deceased people guilting your choices? You do you ! Nicole got married at the lovely Hampton Cove Wedding Venue in Gurley AL.

The final June 4th wedding was with Ashley. It was a joyful day to celebrate the love of Milou & Christine. Christine is an Alabama native but fell in love with Milou, travelled the world & now lives in The Netherlands. To marry her origin into their marriage they decided to get married at Tune Farm in Falkville Alabama. It is so refreshing to find an inclusive venue that we didn’t know about before ! We also had the joy of working with some favorite vendors including, Old Frond, The Rose Reflective and Weddings Ondeck. We are absolutely obsessed with the sneak peak images we’ve seen thus far.

Then finally June 11th was also a busy, busy day because why would anything slow down in June, right?! Casey worked with bride to be Rebekah. The wedding venue was Wedding Chapel on the Mountain in Brownsboro AL, just south of Huntsville . However she actually got ready at our downtown Huntsville studio.

Our other wedding on June 11th was a large, multi-location wedding . Katelyn took care of a couple of cousins at their hotel in Providence while Ashley & 2 assistants got everyone ready at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. There are 2 getting ready suites & we had the larger which with a party this size was greatly appreciated! Truly an example of tag teaming & why timelines are critically important to make sure everyone is completed effectively & efficiently. We once again had the pleasure of working with Mason Dixon, In Bloom & Joel and Amber Photography.

Phew ! That’s a LOT of weddings! We are so grateful for each & every one. While being so busy can make time fly we cherish every moment with all of our couples. Did you enjoy catching up? We hope so !
