AIIR Gathering IV
This past weekend was not our “typical” wedding weekend. Instead it was full of education ! We had the joy of taking part in AIIR Gathering IV with AIIR Professional in Scottsdale Arizona. As many of you know we are obsessed with AIIR Professional products . They are vegan, cruelty free, professional quality & work incredibly! What more could a wedding stylist ask for ?! So of course we were excited to return to the AIIR Professional for Gathering IV to receive a one of a kind education. Plus we had the honor to educate!
First off Arizona and The Saguaro (the hotel we stayed at) was a nice little retreat. After a jam packed event last year this time around we decided to arrive a day early to be able to soak in the sun a bit more & relax. We’re so glad we did because it let us absorb the information, connection & vibes fully refreshed.
Day 1 consisted of hair educational panels, mindfulness reset, goal setting, business practices & product knowledge. We were able to see techniques demonstrated & explained by industry experts . Seeing skills first hand is so incredibly valuable but hearing from those with so much experience is an irreplaceable experience. Some of the incredible educators included Chrystofer Benson, Bottle Blonde, Ambrosia Carey, Jenny Strebe, Lady Boii & Traci Barrett.
Day 2 we had the joy of our artist Ashley taking stage with S & L Trends to demonstrate a bridal trends in quick, easy steps. It was such a mind blowing experience to take the stage to educate hairstylists alongside other talented artists who have always been considered mentors. We are so grateful & it will forever be a lifelong shinning memory. You may be curious, what style was taught? Think Kim K wedding but make it boho. We snatched the sides , created soft waves & added custom pearl accessories. Actually these accessories are in development & will be coming to you (soon ) to purchase ! The rest of Day 2 was filled with breakout panels covering photography your work ( with Sarajane of Blush and Mane), goal setting & energy work ( with Kristen Soseman ) & stylists supporting stylists ( with Cassandra Platinum ).
After the education of day 2 we celebrated our new found friends & experience with a farewell party. It was so wonderful to not only have fun but to see all the talented stylists connect. We truly want everyone to do amazing things. You rise I rise. To say this event & experience is magical is an understatement. We even had more incredible opportunities the next day …. but that for another post ! Here’s to all the magic, all the education & all the amazing things yet to come.
