I’ve come to realize that not everyone lives by the mantra of “ 5 minutes early is on time, on time is late and late is not an option”. One of my parents always operated this way while the other just showed up and timelines were a suggestion. So, I understand it can be challenging to corral people to be on time but I hope through showing the ramifications of tardiness as well as ways to curb it that a beneficial resolution for an easy flowing wedding day can be met.

Why We ONLY Accept 1 Wedding Per Date

Did you know that our beauty team only accepts 1 (one) wedding per date (per stylist)? YUP! This is actually a pretty RARE things amongst beauty teams in the wedding industry. For us though this is an absolute guarantee whether you are working with our DC, Alabama or Austin TX team. Curious as to why? Let’s take a peak as to our logic.

Is 1 Bridal HMUA Enough?

You may be wondering how many people will be needed to glam you & your squad on your wedding day. Can 1 HMU enough? Can they really do it all solo? Granted artists are talented, speedy & you may not truly be sure what timing they need but when it comes down to it each artist will need a specific amount of time to successfully complete services & it can’t ( & definitely shouldn’t be) crunched into a shorter time. So how do you know if you need additional artists?

2023 in Review

I know it’s already into the first week of January so maybe this is a bit delayed but who doesn’t love a review? It just seems to capsulate all the feel goods of the season, all the accomplishments, puts everything in perspective and almost gives a marker for further growth. Neutral Doesn't Equal Natural

Adjectives are relative. Have you ever had a vision in your head but then tried to describe it to someone & what they imagined based on your description is ENTIRELY different? That happens all the time in the beauty industry & is why we LOVE photos for references. One word (like smokey) can mean very different things to 2 different people. One of the most common confusions we see now is natural vs neutral. Do you know the difference?
