We’ve settled in at our new home base in Huntsville, AL. The studio is set, couples have been booked & we’ve officially participated in our first styled shoot! It’s so exciting not only because styled shoots are great in general & the theme was stunning but it was an amazing opportunity to work with so many talented vendors.

I, (Ashley ) styled the hair in a cascading side style with a feature braid. To add a bit of sparkle I added a hair accessory from Hair Comes The Bride (use code “thestylistabroad” for 20% off). Olivia Sparks created a soft & stunning makeup look. Our model was the beautiful Ellie Morgan .

Our styled shoot took place at a lovely colonial farmhouse with rolling hills called R & S Estate . On the expansive property there’s a barn and various ceremony location options. One of my favorite things is the swings adorned with florals perfect for a romantic bride enjoying her blissfully bohemian day.

Speaking of florals…Molly B Flowers worked her magic and created the most beautiful arrangments that completed our moody, romantic vibe . The perfect combination of classic & edgy mixing various flowers types as well as colors creating a truly rich palette of autumn tones.

Our bride wore a beautiful dress from Build A Bride Huntsville . It was covered in lace detailing creating a timeless look. The long sleeves & sweetheart neckline enhanced her romantic style. They have so many stunning dresses to choose from that you just have to check it out. Ellie’s look was completed with jewelry from the incredibly talented Morning Rey . Modern shape & classic colors to bring it all together.

A special day like such needs an invitation to which Sage and Clover Letter delivered something most splendid. Dark rich colors with pops of clean calligraphy really set the tone for any guests on the invite list for our “wedding”.

Our wedding couple’s dinner celebration took place at a long vintage farmhouse table provided by Something Vintage Event Rentals along with mismatched antique chairs. There’s so many unique items they can supply to make your day even most bespoke & special. It set the stage for a romantic, intimate dining experience to share in good times with loved ones.

Now what would a special day be without a sweet treat? Don’t think for a second that we forgot about that! Cakes by Hannah provided a decadent & delicious cake that was a show stopper too. You eat with your eyes first & she promises that the whole experience will be scrumptious.

Finally this day would be nothing if it was not captured to be remembered forever .Sydney Lauren Photography did just that & I must say I was blown away. Obviously I saw her work & knew she was talented but what struck me so much was how you could feel the emotions through the images. She captured the warm glow of an autumn day & the kismet romance of our couple. Literally blown away & her couples are lucky to have her.

I want to say thank you to all the amazing vendors and to Sydney for inviting me. It was a fantastic experience & I feel like we truly made connections that will last well beyond this styled shoot. Here’s to working together again in the future!
