As a hairstylist you learn the art of a blow out and perhaps by learning the techniques & tensions to create the most bombshell look your expectations rise. But can we recreate it ourselves? Even as professionals we struggle to maintain the necessary tension to smooth hair while simultaneously keeping the blowdryer nozzle accurately pointed to safely deliver the heat that creates the physical shape change. We can do it… but it takes a while & lots of concentration. Seriously , you should see out focused faces! But what about the general public? Aashi beauty has created thier “Beyond Blowout Brush” which is a combo of the 2! Yes, you heard that right. A blowdryer & round brush had a baby & it’s a marvelous tool. Instead of managing multiple tools you only need to handle one & based off of personal experience it cuts down you dry time dramatically, (mine by about 40%). It’s very lightweight & even has a cool tip. The bristols provide grip for optimal tension while the innovative airflow vents allow the warm air to glide right through all the follicles. There are 3 settlings (hot, general,& cool) so you can use what works best & even seal the shape with a blast of cool. You simply turn it on to your desired heat level & start the section you wish to dry. In general just as in traditional blowout for optimal results I recommend sections that are about 1” x 1/2 the length of the “brush”. Otherwise it won’y be as smooth & will take longer to truly dry.
I am really looking forward to using this on the go. As a bridal stylist I always bring my blowdryer & round brushes just incase someone didn’t arrive with fully dry hair as instructed but that takes up space for a “just in case” scenario . That space is especially critical when I’m flying for an out of town wedding . This could minimize that so much! From the consumer point of view think how many less things you need to bring. That’s pretty fantastic.
