Finishing April Strong

Where did April go? Yea, I don’t know either! But we had an amazing last weekend all across our regions & can’t wait to share with you. Let’s go!

In Huntsville Ashley (Lead hairstylist) & Casey ( Assisting) help Sam & her crew get ready at the Westin. The wedding suite was so pretty. Think upscale apartment with floor to ceiling windows & lots of ample lighting. A dream space for all our needs. We amped up the volume on the bride per her request as a modification from her trial. Her mother along with her wedding party all decided to go with voluminous down looks & various types of curls (from bouncy to beauty). Makeup was provided by MUA Heather Michelle & florals by Nip & Tuck Florist. The wedding took place at Huntsville Botanical Gardens.

Katelyn was busy with a prom hair & makeup look in Huntsville Alabama. She decided to go with a edgy braided look & natural glam makeup. We’re so glad in our busy schedule we were able to glam this sweetheart for her prom.

Michelle & Jenna had the joy of working with bride to be Jenna to create her dream hair & makeup look. She has the most magical natural curls which we were so excited to play with. Did you know we’re curl certified ? Yup, that’s right! Curls are a beuatiful & unique texture that we are always delighted to elevate. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Lindsay & Co Photography again. Sound familiar ? We worked together last weekend too! They all got ready in Annapolis & the wedding took place at Historic London Town & Gardens in Edgewater Maryland. Flowers were provided by Violet Floral Designs

Next up is Erin’s wedding with stylist Gabriela . Wedding morning took place at Hotel Lombardy in Washington DC. Georgetown Bride provided makeup while we provided hair services. Yvonne of Oniel Events was the planner keeping everything running smoothly . Gabriela brought to life not a stunning look with immense attention to detail as she made some requested changes from the original trial.

The final wedding on Saturday was with stylist Sarah for bride to be Divya. This was edgy & elegant all in one! Think… disco balls, sweeping views, bright colors & stunning florals. Are you drooling? I am! Not to mention the team to create this magic was… magical. Cheers Darling Events spearheaded the planning for this NYC couple to have thier big day at Union Market. Katie Stoops snapped all the shots & Lucy Black Entertainment brought the tunes. Our team provided the hair styling services & Beauty n the Bride provided makeup. Catering was provided by Spilled Milk DC and ice cream by Salt and Straw. The design was incredible & took a team within a team. Sophie Felts created the incredible florals while Revolution Events did the build out. Something Vintage provided all the decor & rentals with draping from Fabrication Events Decor & lighting by Dan Goldman Events. Additional rentals form DC Event Rentals, Select Event Group & Perfect Settings LLC. To say it’s a team is an understatement.

Now I know Sunday is May but it’s the same weekend so we’re diving into that as well! We only had one wedding on Sunday but it was a stunning one! Bride to be Krissy got glammed up at the Birkby House in Leesburg Virginia by Gabriela. We had the joy of working with the talented Events by Faten . It was not only a pleasure but everything was seamlessly smooth. Marshall Arts Photography captured the day. Bee’s Wing Farm was the floral provider. They are women owned & environmentally friendly focusing on gentle growing. How cool!

We are thrilled every weekend but this weekend is a great example of the joy that comes from working with our familiar friend-ors while also working with new faces & learning new things. We’re open for it all & the incredible things that come from these relationships.
